Intensive courses require a minimum of 4 hours per week — either 2 × 2-hour sessions or a 4-hour session with a break.

Unfortunately, no spaces can be booked or secured without payment.

A £20 deposit is required to confirm your booking. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will forfeit the deposit.

Do I need my theory test result before booking lessons?

No — you can start practical lessons at any time. However, you must pass your theory test before you can book a practical driving test with the DVSA.

What's the difference between a block and an intensive course?

A block booking (e.g. 10 hours) lets you take lessons at a regular weekly pace. An intensive course concentrates those hours into 1–2 weeks for faster progression — ideal if you have a test date in mind.

What car will I learn in?

All lessons are conducted in a modern Volkswagen Golf GTD, which has a five-star Euro NCAP crash-test rating. The car is fully dual-controlled, meaning Mark has his own set of brakes for complete safety.

How long will it take me to pass?

It varies by individual. The DVSA average is 45 hours of professional instruction plus 22 hours of private practice. Mark will give you an honest assessment based on your progress throughout — and only recommend you for your test when you're genuinely ready.
